What Made This Move Unique
Every safe move is different. In this case, the biggest challenge was the safe would not fit through the bedroom door to come out, so we had to completely remove the lock, dial, handle, and the entire boltwork mechanism from the safe. After we got the safe out of the house we reinstalled everything back in the safe before loading it on the trailer. To install the safe at the new home we also had to take the safe up the front stairs. This safe was really a little too heavy for our stair climber’s capacity, but fortunately we successfully moved the safe up the steps and into the bedroom where the customer desired it. Therefore, we adjusted our approach to ensure everything was handled safely.
