We completed a safe moving job in Granbury, TX. In this case, the customer needed help moving a Pentagon Gun Safe off of it’s pallet in the garage and then into the home. Because safes are heavy and difficult to handle, we used specialized equipment to complete the move safely.
Details of This Safe Move
The safe weighed approximately 3,900 pounds. In addition, we were called out at the last minute one evening to install this new safe that had arrived curbside delivery on a double pallet. We quoted a price range as we usually do and the customer accepted our terms so we headed over to do the job. The customer told us that the safe was a large gun safe and he needed it taken off the pallets it was sitting on and moved into his house. When we arrived we found the safe pictured below. It was in the garage and it took up one complete garage bay! We unwrapped it and removed the cardboard and straps and removed the safe from it’s two extra large pallets. We moved the safe into the house and placed it exactly where the customer wanted it. Below is where we placed the safe.. Because of these challenges, we planned the move before starting. We used equipment designed for heavy safes to control movement and protect the property. As a result, the safe was moved without damage.
