We completed a safe moving job in Fort Worth, TX. In this case, the customer needed help moving a Diebold Lug Door TL-30 high security safe from a vault to a shop. Because safes are heavy and difficult to handle, we used specialized equipment to complete the move safely.
Details of This Safe Move
The safe weighed approximately 3,500 pounds. We moved the safe along with the pedestal out of the building using the smaller pallet jack where we transferred to a larger pallet jack and loaded it on our trailer and transported the safe to it’s new storage location. Because of these challenges, we planned the move before starting.
We used equipment designed for heavy safes to control movement and protect the property. As a result, the safe was moved without damage.
