The safe weighed approximately 4,500 pounds. The garage we are about to put the safe in here, had a steep driveway, so we had to raise the front of the trailer to help level it out. We didn’t want to be pushing it up hill! With the front of the trailer raised up, we were able to just let the winch control and slowly let the safe and pallet jack roll off the trailer into the garage. Because of these challenges, we planned the move before starting. We used equipment designed for heavy safes to control movement and protect the property. As a result, the safe was moved without damage.
