We completed a safe moving job from Venus, TX to Arlington, TX. In this case, the customer needed help moving a large Fort Knox Gun Safe, a small ammo safe and a toolbox from one home. We moved the small ammo safe and the toolbox to a storage unit. We moved the Fort Knox gun safe to another residence. Because safes are heavy and difficult to handle, we used specialized equipment to complete the move safely.
Details of This Safe Move
The Fort Knox gun safe weighed approximately 1,800 pounds. In addition, the move involved moving across multiple types of flooring, which we protected with runners and aluminum plates. Because of these challenges, we planned the move before starting.
We used equipment designed for heavy safes to control movement and protect the property. Our team moved the safe without causing any damage.
