We completed a safe moving job from Waxahachie, TX to Brooksmith, TX. In this case, the customer needed help moving a large Amsec Gun Safe from one home to another. We sold him the large used Hamilton TL-30 bank safe and delivered it at the same time. Because safes are heavy and difficult to handle, we used specialized equipment to complete the move safely.
Details of This Safe Move
The Amsec gun safe weighed approximately 1,800 pounds. The Hamilton bank safe weighed approximately 5,000 pounds. In addition, the move involved large distances which took most of one day to accomplish. Because of these challenges, we planned the move before starting.
We used equipment designed for heavy safes to control movement and protect the property. As a result, the safe was moved without damage.
